With the race course set against a backdrop of skyscrapers in the night in the city, the sixth year of the Sundown Marathon is always one exciting night running event on every runner's calendar.

Team FatBird is happy to launch Operation NightHawk 2013 - our tried and tested structured night training program to help you Show Your True Colours & Beat The Sunrise!

This edition of Operation NightHawk delivers even better value with additional training sessions, enhanced equipping discounts from New Balance & 2XU Compression to provide you the ultimate night marathon training experience.

OPERATION NIGHTHAWK - Comprehensive Marathon Training Package price of $129 (FM) and $119 (HM and past FatBird trainees) inclusive of:
1. 12-week Team FatBird (www.teamfatbird.com) Flight-Zones™ Night Marathon Training Program.
      • Heart-Rate & Pace Training sessions.
      • 1 weekday tempo and 1 weekend long run with the group
      • Workout sessions focus on building strength and endurance 
        for the HM and FM distances, with a good mix of tempos, 
        hills, repeats, trails, coupled with weekend LSD and pace runs.
      • Experienced Marathoners and Pacers leading and guiding the 
        runs
      • Information and tips on Managing & Preventing Running       
        Injuries, Running Performance, Sports Nutrition.
      • Isotonic Drinks/Refreshments after long runs.
2. A New Balance "OPERATION NIGHTHAWK" TRAINING tee FOC
3. A New Balance "OPERATION NIGHTHAWK" RACE DAY singlet/vest FOC to trainees who meet attendance criteria (50% weekend sessions).
4. A one-time 50% kit-up discount of New Balance apparel, shoes, products.

Program PowerFLIGHT: Give Me The Power!

Hello FatBird Runners, 

Have we got  some power and fat-burning workouts  for you in 2013!




Team FatBird is pleased to bring you Program PowerFLIGHT 
- a specially-designed 10-week Speed & Strength Training Program to help you:
1. Build cardio and leg strength,
2. Improve speed and performance from 5km-42km
3. Tune-Up for races
4. Weight Loss/Management
5. Regular run maintenance


WHY:    Whether you are training  and tuning up for a race or just  to maintain a desired weight with specific running workouts,  Program PowerFLIGHT will surely be something to have in your  roadmap for successful running and fitness maintenance.

WHAT: The speed and weight management Program integrates the core components of Hills, Intervals, Tempos, Fartleks and Strides to bring you optimum results

WHEN: Wednesdays 7pm-9pm (Repeats, Intervals, Fartleks)
            Weekends (Sat/Sun) 7am-9am (Tempos, Hills)
Training Period: Jan-Mar 2013

WHERE: Stadium Track, Mt. Faber Hills/Parks, City Parks, MacRitchie Reservoir Trails
